My car has the business hifi with the 10 speaker Carver DSP setup. The sound quality I think is pretty good. However..
This morning I was fiddling, as I am prone to, and realised that the output from the rear subs was pretty weedy compared to the fronts.
So I whipped the amp out and opened it up, all looks fine with no water damage :-D
Then I removed the covers and the subs are actually working with visible cone movement. But their bass output, I would say is 10% of the front ones.
Can someone do me a favour and see if theirs is the same? Putting the fader all the way to the rear makes the bass pretty much non existent, and even one tap towards the front makes a massive difference, and when in the centre position it sounds great but it's annoying me now thinking that I should have even more bass..
Is there a common problem that I've missed?
