Killing Moss

I've tried allsorts, bleach, salt, moss killers etc and the only sure way to get rid of it is with a powerful jet wash.
The rotary path cleaners you can buy to use with the jet wash work OK to get rid of 90% and the rest with the jet wash.
Ours is a tarmac drive with a brick (pave) edging and I was concerned the tarmac might start to break up but it's been done 3 or 4 time and no sign of deterioration. Best of luck it's a fairly slow boring process.

Now I like the look of that gadget - thankfully I don't have block paving or that would be another thing I would have to buy . . .

For ease for you ZermattV, this is the motor, and then you add all the components such as strimmers (attachment standing in picture 1), hedge trimmers, extension poles, brush kit, chain saw and so forth. Very good stuff, it does not remove the sand as that is very compacted in between the bricks. You need ear protectors though as the prof series is loud (and face mask as it does flick stuff up).
I think with a pressure washer you remove more sand as the brush goes over it, whilst the water goes between the bricks.
