Kielder loop - beautiful sunshine

A text message this morning saw Steph and I meeting up with Mike 'cherrym' to make the most of the brilliant sunshine. We headed out for a loop which included Kielder Water and some wonderful back roads on our return to Bellingham for lunch. The old workhouse café makes an excellent stop for anyone heading this way. Traffic was fairly light though the section from Chollerford to Kielder was periodically baulked as safe overtaking places are rare, nevertheless we had a great 'hoon' and the new Goodyear rears worked well in the cold though the steering has become more lively since they were fitted. I may trial some differing front pressures, I've been in conversation with Swiftly. . . we shall see.

Yep Martin, it was another great day - you know the feeling . . . once or twice as I geared down, set the throttle and came off the brakes entering a corner when it all comes together it hit me just how lucky I was to be doing something I love - never got to take it for granted - what a feeling - absolute magic!

Nearly Jonny,

A year between them, one 2008 one 2007, both si, one 2.5, one 3.0, and although it doesn't look like it on the photos, one is stratus grey and one silver grey - but must agree they look the same on these photos!

Have to say Mike's Zed looks fabulous on the road so I'll be well pleased if our looks anything like!
