Kidney grille wrapping

I'm going to spray my grille slats satin black and was thinking of wrapping the chrome outer part in carbon but unsure which way the weave will look best.
I was thinking looking from the front, both going from the centre outwards \\\\ //// but my mate who does wrapping for a business says all going same way on both grilles //// ////

I cant seem to find any clear pics of either, so what's peoples opinions?

1 vote for same way here...but if im honest i'd prob do them in satin black to match the grilles- might look like theres a bit too much going on

I have oredered some plasti dip for the centre of the grills. I will keep the outer ring chrome for the time being. As the car is monaco blue i think the front end will look too black.

Can we have a photo when your done please?

I likd the hydro dipping technique, but not sure how it would stand up to chips etc? Can anyone shed some light on the wear of it please?
