Keyless entry failed on driver's door

The keyless entry on my driver's door has been intermittent for awhile & has now stopped working completely (works fine from passenger side). Took it in today & they've got to replace the door handle mechanism - over £300 parts alone! Due to having to strip the door down to investigate & then the actual replacement (has to be ordered as they come colour matched), the total cost of the job is over £600! Thank heaven for extended warranty - only took it out last month, well worth the investment!

Shame about that hope they sort it for you. Another +1 for warranty

Even my friends lexus had the same issue... So going Jap isnt always a solution

Happened to me on the passenger door. New handle under warranty about a year ago. Been fine since.

Had the call that the replacement parts had arrived, so Z went back in yesterday - all sorted. Just got to get used to leaving key in my pocket again!
