keep getting flashed!

No... perhaps have the levels checked? They can be adjusted by means of a screw on the top of the lamp shells.

Does anyone else get flashed when on dipped lights? it seems to hapen alot to me!

Sounds odd but is your car dirty? I get it and the gf gets it (more aptly with mini xenons opposed to my haolgens) more often when the cars are needing a wash, the beam pattern gets messed up and seems to produce more glare to look at head on whilst you end up with reduced visibility. Just an idea if everything is in working order.

No, I never have this problem.

I am, however, sick of idiots in hot hatchbacks driving 6 feet off my back bumper at 80 mph on the M1, even though I am in the middle lane.

I get it occasionally and my lights are fine. I just flash them back to let them know I didn't have my full beams on.

Then pull into the near side lane like you're supposed to ;)

No niether of the last two posts, although my wife drives it a fair bit so it could be mistaken identity., wouldnt a long rain coat get in the way of the pedals??

I've noticed on other BMWs with the whiter halos they're actually quite bright and dazzling on occasions same with LED DRLs so it may just be drivers sensitive to these lights.

It's pretty simple really, the nearside lane is full of HGV's travelling at about 60mph and I'm in the middle lane overtaking them. My point is about somebody tailgating me at a unsafe distance

I guess the simple solution is to trade the Zed in for a HGV :D then proceed to run any tailgaters over

I think the problem is the sharp cutoff of the dipped beams. A slight bump could result in dazzling on coming drivers.
Just fitted some HIDs to a motorcycle.
They are called Bi Xenon, basically one bulb with a with a solenoid operated metal sleeve which moves to expose the the full arc for main beam. These also exhibit the same sharp cutoff.
looks like the same system on the Zed.

The older E85 have the manual cover/lever for continental driving.

I've lowered mine slightly so the offside rake's slightly lower just to avoid issues over bumps

I'm surprised you're getting flashed, personally I think the Z has a very sensible low beam pattern and given how low the front of the car is compared to most things on the market today, I'd be surprised if you were dazzling anything bigger than a go-cart.

What REALLY pisses me off is when you get Range Rover with bi-xenons driving at you, sitting in the Z those things are at eye-level, completely blinding.

Does it always happen in the same place? Crest of a hill perhaps? The bi-xenons are basically on at 'full-beam' intensity all the time, so if the angle of the car is such that it's in the oncoming drivers eyes, it will appear like you have full beams on.

Could also be a fault with the auto-leveling system.

The sharp beam pattern is the same on all cars with projector lenses thats not the problem. I do sometimes get dazzled by brand new cars so I think their beam patterns are adjusted right at the edge of what they can get away with.
Hate 4x4s aswell, headlights always in your face
