Same here, there is a real noticeable difference between non sports and sports mode. However I prefer to switch it off when driving around the city.
+1 big difference on my 3.0i between the two mainly revolving around a quicker response. i probably depends on your driving style anyway.
I only tend to use if when i want some quick pick up/ acceleration... I know it doesnt make a difference though... But feels like it does!
I also find it helps remove the 1-2 gear change kangaroo... But I dont like it parking with it... Makes the steering too heavy.
