I've organized a drive to Weston/Vaughn Orchard for Saturday October 3rd (before they sell out all those delicious apple pies) for cider and other orchard stuff to welcome the season of Autumn to the area. This is a family oriented event so bring the significant other, wife, husband, kiddies and family pet it you like. :ryan:

Saturday: October 3rd
Departure time: 10:30 - 10:45 am
Departure place: Panera's parking lot on 10606 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Overland Park (where our 1st Sat meetings take place).
Route: a leisurely drive to Vaughn Orchard on 23200 State Route 273 in Weston right after the first Saturday breakfast meet.
Vaughn Orchard has outstanding apple donuts, hot apple cider and apple pies you can freeze then bake and eat whenever you get the craving. They even have "diet" versions for those that are calorie conscious. Depart at your own schedule, visit historic Weston.

Enjoy a car event near Kansas City International Airport!
FREE ADMISSION!! OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!
Hundreds of classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, rat rods, exotics and imports will be on hand in a casual, un-judged atmosphere. A Moonwalk and Mad Science Booth will be available for the kids. Bring lawn chairs and shade!
Vendors will offer the latest in accessories and a Mobile Chassis Dyno will be on-site to test your car's performance!
Raffle Tickets and Refreshments will be sold to benefit KCMO Combined Charities. Prizes will include Southwest Airlines vouchers, MobileDyne Chassis Dynos, hotel stays, restaurant gift cards and much more!!
