I keep my SKS w/reloads on one side, my Mossberg on the other, and various boxes of ammo...oh, and an old Army knife my dad gave me...and dust bunnies - except on the guns, no dust on my guns.
Do you rotate your mags so that each is only loaded for so long? Helps to ease the springs once in a while so you don't have feed errors. I noticed that my half full mag of black talons for my glock is actually splitting. Time to toss that one and rebuild the others.
Yes, have to. But of all my guns, you know which one craps out quickest? My P-90..and to find magazines are a bitch, and they're expensive too. I go to a minimum of two gun and knife shows a year and always pick up extra mags for one or two guns/rifles, that way I always have a reliable supply. The springs in my Keltec though are awesome, very hard to wear those little suckers out. Glocks wear out a little quicker as well but not as expensive here to replace because they're more common. I keep them fully loaded with one in the chamber so my springs are always maxed and get worn out quicker. I've got today off and I'm getting ready to load up the 'kids' and head to the woods for a couple hours of stress relief!
BTW: Black Talons - nice... ! AKA flying ashtrays..
