I decided to give a recent BMWCC meet a miss (gutted as muppet's photos looked like a great meet) and took a trip to Knockhill circuit instead. They had a full programme over 2 days, including 2 x 1-hr Brit GT championship races. No BMW involvement unfortunately (unless you count the engine in the Ascari - what a noise
) but loads of great racing. This is only the second time using the 55-250 lens on my DSLR (a Canon 350d) and I'm still very much learning, but I'm quite happy with how they came out.
Comments and advice for how I can improve in future are welcomed. Full gallery HERE, but here's a few previews:
Josh Hill (Damon's son) about to spin and retire with a left-rear puncture:
Love the steering angle going on here:
2 wheels:
Big cars, small track - Ascari, 430, 911:
Glowing brakes:
My panning shots on a longer exposure need work:
Forerunner to the Nissan 350z (old Datsun content):
Sheer car p*rn
Lost it under braking at end of main straight, new pants please:
Cheers
Ally
