I thought the 350z I drove a few years ago was more refined than my Z4M but in fairness the 350z I drove was only a few months old whereas my Zed was 6 years old with just over 40k miles on the clock, I loved the 350z so I bet yours is just even better I would love either a 350z/370z and your looks a stunnerapi330 said:Its not as sweet as my M coupe that's for sure. But its got pleanty of power not sure about the 350 not been in one, every thing else is very sweet so I can for give the slightly noisy engine note and it is fine until the last 1,500 rpm so its not really an issue,
I don't think you will be seeing many of them for sure,
As an 'upgrade' from a Z4M or from a standard Z4? I wouldn't consider it an upgrade - more of a side-grade, or downgrade if you don't go for the Nismo version.Zmachine said:Lovely car. Seems like a popular upgrade from the Z4 at the moment, I guess BMW haven't made an equivalent coupe upgrade since the e86 Z4M. I do like the 370z though looks more up to date and has a bit more flare than the new style Porsche Cayman too!
According to Nissan it has a 0-60mph of 5.2 seconds compare to the 4.8/4.9 to 60mph of the Z4M.Zmachine said:Out of interest what's the drive and performance like in comparison to the Z4M, is it a lot faster?

I though the popular upgrade was the Porsche GT3 or Nissan GTR.

Probably to do with being about 80kg heavier.

By upgrade I mean a more modern version the Z4M as it's in a similar class, i.e. Engine size, shape, weight etc it's a smaller sized sports coupe at the end of the day. The GT3 would be more comparable to the 6 series M say, it's not a direct competitor.
The Z4M is a lovely car and got nothing against them but it the body shape is still from the original Z4 which came out in 2003, where as the 370Z started production in 2009, so it's definitely a "fresher look"
Thats not a dig at the Z4M by any means, I only have a 2.5 03 plate!
