Hi Guys,

Just bought myself a mint 3.0si Sport Z4..looks awesome and has a couple of extras that I wanted.

Anyway, on to the point of this topic..

I'm looking for an upgrade to my basic BMW Business Stereo setup. The 6 speakers do an ok job but ideally I need some good lows and some relatively loud thumping base. I dont really want to go about opening doors fiddling with endless wires or removing/replacing my standard manufacturer head unit. I briefly looked into things like bass tubes and Active Subs. I came across the Pioneer: TS-WX77A. I was wondering...can this be installed fairly easily? Would this be ok to connect to the standard 6 speaker system? How easy/what damage do I need to do to my car whilst installing? :!:

I have NO idea how to install something like this, I was hoping from some advice from you people in the know. I want minimal disruption in terms of fiddling with my car which is why I started looking into 'all in one' amp/sub like the pioneer one. Any other advice on how to improve my sytem (remember I dont really want to mess around with my car too much!)?

Any advice or help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

To be honest... i dont think its easy.. not if you want to retain OEM stalk control etc. Specific information on the standard audio system here:

I read about a amp that you can connect to your exisiting stereo and it will amplify your current speakers. There were models with more outputs and sub outs. It's designed to go in your dash. Sadly I cannot remember the manufacturer but if you check out www.caraudiodirect.com it's probably on there.
