England is cheating at the Euro Cup by using a Premier League team from Tottenham.
Come on England.
Don't you have any better footballers to pick from except those from Tottenham ?

Maybe it's because the Euro Cup (Coupe ?) is being held in France so there is little local interest.
Stuff like this is hard to understand from way over here.

There are 9 out of 25 squad players that are English, probably 5 of the starting 11. Four of those have gone to the tournament.

I'd assume if it's anything like the Tartan Army that most of the decent fans are saving up all year to make a great holiday out of it all. Of course that's obviously going back to the days when Scotland actually qualified for tournaments!

And going by what's being reported live and uncensored online compared to "uk" media etc. it's certainly not being blown out of proportion. Now I know how things get outta hand over there.

I know about the 5 Lions from Tottenham Hotspurs who play for England.
And I understand that Team England has players from other squads.
And to embellish that 5 into being the whole squad is friendly overstatement (ie. Like a Spurs Fan being proud of the lads on their squad)
Admit it's significant that 5 players from the same squad made the team is pretty spectacular given the pool of talent available.
( And before you get all huffy ..I'm not inferring soccer is played in a pool although pictures coming out of Paris recently might even dispute that)
