I have just had my car serviced at Lincoln BMW after much fighting for a price match, however the inroduction of a new service manager soon sorted that problem out as he was happy to price match with a courtesy car at £250. Unfortunatley they rang me half way throught the service saying it needed a brake fluid change, despite the car not requiring it till october. (everyones a salesman). They also said there was another problem ................
SNAPPED REAR COIL SPRINGS !!!!!!!
They then said its no problem and can be repaired at a cost of £360 ish. Unfortunatley the car is 6 months out of warranty, and i specifically asked the springs to be checked on a pre warranty expiry check, but it never got done. After much more arguing/debating and making my self aware of BMW UK's goodwill scheme they left to investigate further. An hour later i recievied a call from the service girl who said BMW will contribute 100%. !!!!!!!!!!!! Winner
Things are certainly looking up at lincoln with the new service team, as the last bunch were a nightmare. It just goes to show, if you dont ask you dont get !
Needless to say im very happy with my service and its booked in next week to get the springs done.
