hi, sold my z3m roadster a month ago and just got my z4m coupe off pistonheads , carbon black with black nappa and carbon dash, absolutely thrilled, just finding my way around it , have a few issues re the clunky drivetrain and 1st to 2nd shift. reading the many posts on this it seems almost normal, am hoping it gets better as you get used to it, also found the kangarooing i had read about when i left the sport button on at a slow roundabout !! still got some swirls to get rid of, any advice on best compound to use on this lacquer as farecla g3 doesnt seem to do much would be welcome. many thanks
 
swirlx by maguiars worked for me with midnight blue! oh and before i forget, always wanted to say :worthless:

If you have DA polisher I can recommend Menzerna products for BMW paint.

welcome to a very exclusive club i think you will find that advice is freely given its a great forum its just the ragtops that hate us ! :D
 
still polishing guys before the pics , will get some sorted and post them soon, was a bit below par under the bonnet too but nearly there now. megs scratch x sorted the swirls dramatically then gold class yellow, love the carbon black more and more as it's constantly changing in different light conditions. cant believe how much more solid handling it is over the z3m.
 
Useless thread without PICS , I was told this too and put them up on here , so lets see the car please !!!!
