79,243 miles. Very well maintained. Looks awesome. Drives like a champ. Can't believe the wife likes it more than me! Makes things much easier when it comes to spending money on it! Guys, I love this car. The more I look at it, the more I drive it, the more in love I fall.
I am looking forward to getting to know all you pro's and learning from your schoolings.
I haven't slept in a day in a half due to how excited I am about this car. 4 days ago it was just a pipe dream, today I am a proud owner of a wicked BMW. :driving:
 
Congratulations on a great choice of year and engine :wink: I've had mine for four and a half years but there's still a sense of occasion when that six opens up, so I'm sure you will love it!

Had my Z for 18 month's still makes me smile every time I drive it 8-)

I can't figure out how to post a picture. Please help. im using an iPad. In the morning I will use my computer and I think posting pics will be much easier that way. Stay tuned guys, I can't wait to see what you say when you see my baby. It's the merlot color with a tan top and 10spoke grey rims. I haven't seen many like this combo.

What a result that Mrs Greyspeedr is a fan - I know from personal experience that's not always the case - would be fair to say that Mrs R tolerates rather than enjoys our Zed.

Spent 5 hours yesterday detailing her out. She sure looks pretty. I posted some pictures in the gallery section. Check them out and tell me what you think.
I then took the misses on a top down night cruise. First time in it at night for her. She was throwing her arms up in the air and screaming in excitement. We didn't go anywhere in particular we were just cruising. Soo much fun. This is the first convertible I've ever owned and what a neat experience it is to go 65 mph with nothing above and around you. I will say that the 10 speaker stereo system rocks! Very loud and clear, even at speed.


Is it bad that I just sit on my couch and just stare at it for periods of time?
 
I want to to do 2 improvements straight up. The dirty, stained shifter knob and the headlights. I read about the toothpaste fix for the lights and will be trying it out shortly.
As for the shift knob, I am thinking about dying it the same color as the wood on the dash. Just the top half, just the part that your hand grabs. I think it would carry the wood grain color from the dash into the car properly. What do you guys think?
