As you all know I've been looking for ages, after my failed purchase (not mint) this weekend this came along today so I was quick off the mark and bought it.
I've just driven back and all seems well.

Hi - you clearly made the right decision waiting for a mint example. That looks great!

Sorry I cannot help red your questions. I haven't singled you out - I can never answer anyone's questions on here, :P

Thanks for posting with pics within the hour of purchase. That is the standard we expect!

Enjoy :driving:

Looks a great colour combo , i wouldn't flap about the headlights , no matter what spec they are all shite :P

Looks like a lovely 3.0si you've got yourself there - Montego Blue with Champagne leather by the looks of it?

I am very pleased with my headlights - on full beam they're much brighter than anything I have had before. The cat I saw on my home tonight was pleased as they saved him a life!

Lovely looking colour combo you have

I'm waiting another 10 minutes in case G-A-R-Y hasn't actually bought it!

Ha Ha, it's actually on my drive. I know I've had a few failed purchases and been to a lot of auctions. Quite a relief though, good options and good history made it worth the wait.

Change the wipers to Bosch Aerotwin.

Work perfectly every time. There's a thread somewhere about the sizes as the passenger side lifts a little if too big.

The Xenons are better during the day. Don't drive at night and problem sorted!

Get the VIN number into the Vin decoder and get all the details.

What's the plans for the car?

The car hasn't done many miles and has been sat in a garage. Front rims could do with tidying up from a lady driver. Centre dash trim (black piano) lacquer is peeling.

Nice, and as said, check out sk93s how to fix for the wipers
Can you point me in the right location for this fix?

Thanks, I had so many replies, I've found it and read it through. I suspected the motor contacts. Now my first job.
