Just bought a 2003 Z4 and thought I'd better say hello.
The spec is as follows:

2.5l Se
Sterling Grey
Red leather seats.door trim
Xenons with washers
18" composite alloys
33k mileage

My previous car which I've just sold was a 2.0 Westfield which just wasn't getting used due to our beautiful summer days! :D
Decided to go for something a bit more practical. Having a roof for me was a bonus, having an electric roof is just luxury compared to the Westy!!

My initial thoughts on the car is much smoother and more of a tourer than anything I've previously had (Lotus Esprit, Elise, Westfields) and I'm enjoying it hugely.

One thing I'd like to do with the car is to change the rear lights to the facelift ones with clear lenses. This seems easy enough to do with a spanner. I'd also like to change the side indicator to the same clear lens style but I can work out how to do this? Is it an easy job? Any advise would be appreciated.

Side indicators are a doddle - just rotate anti-clockwise and pull. Badge prises off easy or you buy a new badge...

Rear Facelift lights are not a straight swap though. You need new light control module and new bumper...

You could get clear indicator prefacelift rears though  Think BMW do a clear light kit which includes these and side indicators as well as 3rd brake light - or at least they used to.

And Welcome to the forum

Don't forget to get some pictures before things get rowdy in here though :D

Welcome - sounds nice with low mileage.

Any photos? - Use photobucket and copy and paste the image code.

Cheers for the advise - I'll take some pics over the weekend and post them up.

The rear light cluster I'm looking at is on Ebay at the mo:

Will this fit ok without the control module etc? It looks the same as is on at the mo, but just with the clear indicators.
