Hi all as above really-did this year suffer from bad roof motor design?-(i thought they changed the position or design at some point near this year?)-thanx

2006 - Easily identified at a glance by the different front bumper & rear lights design and clear indicators.

The later roof motors were better sealed.

would a facelift roof motor fit a pre facelift?

As CJ said post facelift are better sealed but there have been failures reported on here, JamieZ being one IIRC

Late 2006 the facelift weren't it? My 56 plate was one of the first I think?

IFAIK only the motpr design has been changed, the bottom line is check your drain holes aren't blocked.
