July 1st no smoking ban in the UK

It's funny. I bought about 15 cigars in Cuba a couple of years ago, and they're just sitting in my humidor. I don't even smoke cigars! I think I smoked two with a friend. Are they still good or do they go bad over time? I keep the humidity at 70 and everything.

They're fine. Ship them to me marked as producto de mexico.

Most cubans age well, and a couple years aging makes them much more complex.

The only way to find out... is to smoking.gif one.

It should be fine. It might burn faster, but the difference in taste won't be noticeable to a non-connoisseur.

I should smoke them, but I never get a chance to and none of my friend smoke.

I have something like 7 Partagas Series D No. 4 and 6 Montecriso No. 2

I'll find an occasion one of these days. Thanks for the info.

Monte #2s are good, but might be a bit strong, so if you're in need of a good cleaning out, you can smoke one of them.

Bring them down, i'll supply the scotch. (nothing under $120 a bottle)

I've only smoked one of the #2's before. Takes a looong time! But I guess that's part of the enjoyment.

I read in a cigar magazine once about how Americans tend to keep the cigar label on to show off what they're smoking whereas in Europe, it's a faux pas to do so. Any cigar conoisseurs want to confirm or deny this?

As was previously mentioned we have had the ban in Scotland for over a year.

Personally I,
Go to the pub less.
Smoke more when out anywhere.
Don't stink of smoke as much when I come home even though I'm a smoker.
Notice how badly some places smell.
Also notice bodily odours of people in pubs.

The Z4 has always been a smoke free zone anyway!

I support a smoke free environment (I am a non-smoker). However, I believe that it is not the government that should decide.

I always remove the bands.

I only smoke outside (sometimes in the car, but only top down...)
When I've been smoking, I tend to stay away from others for a while.

Cigarettes drive me nuts due to the propensity of the cigarette smoker for throwing the dang butts everywhere. Had one bounce off my windshield the other day.

I can smell a cigarette smoker right away. Even though I reek of cigar often enough, I don't like the smell of cigarettes. After 8 months, i'm still trying to rid my car of the smell of cigarette smoke on a hot day. The woman that owned it before me must have had one or two a day in the car. I've gotten most of it out, but it's still there on a hot day after the car has been closed up for a bit.
