I'm in a Jeep off road event this weekend and it's a rare non competitive couple of days and I'll be driving my competition Jeep Wrangler. The passenger seat is free if anyone is in the Clyro area and wants a ride (and is stupid enough to accept)

I've spent the last couple of days of when I had free time prepping and I think it's fit to roll

All you need to do is have a sense of adventure, be prepared to get into the mud to rig up winches and not bitch about anything

PM me for contact info if you're interested

Great event - I'll try to get some pics up tonight inc. the awesome competition beast that my buddies were breaking in!!

Found a few minutes this afternoon.

Frankly I'm still recovering from aches and bruises from a tough weekend.

This was a punch event over 2 days where basically the clerk sets a course and drivers have to drive, winch, etc. to the punch to clip a card fastened to the passenger door. You can compete in any order, but they tape off routes to make it challenging or in some cases near impossible!!!

Just a few shots of my Jeep, but mainly of my buddy and his newly created competition vehicle. It entered an event we did in Ireland late last year and was this weekend on a final shakedown test before moving to Croatia for a competition in 2 weeks. Truly awesome. 5 litre, 400+HP, 44" tyres (Yes - nearly 4 feet). Communication by bluetooth headset due to noise, 3 winches, fully submersible (even the instrument panels are deep water sealed, etc.) I followed it on my 'tiny' 35" tyred competition Jeep, but cannot truly compete against it.

Ha ha - not me... I have been known to drive over a couple of burnt out wrecked cars, not something you can do in a Zed

You live close to Bradford then? :D

Don't start me - I worked in Bradford for 2 months in 2007 and any comment I make will get mean I have to ban myself from the board...
