Anglesey is one of my favourite circuits. Which version were you on, Coastal or International ? Very easy to get distracted by the views coming down Peel hill.... don't ask how I know !

great pics. love a zed on track. brakes is an easy enough upgrade to do, just need some decent pads. I used to use Performance Friction 08 compound, pricey, but last ages and perform great.

Also on hotter days, its a 10 minute task to remove the front fog lights, helps get some cooling air into the wheel wells to aid with front brake temps.

any plans to upgrade tyres? on a dry day, a decent set of trackday tyres makes a huge difference, along with a decent wheel alignment.

Some great photos there.

The weather is always going to be unpredictable booking a track day this time of year, but at least a wet day puts a bit less strain on the car!

I can't tell if your car is a 3.0i, but if not you could upgrade to 3.0i front brakes as they are a bit bigger - 300mm discs I think. Or 3.0Si facelift front discs which are 325mm.

Really good tips!!

So tyres changed to mps4s
Alignment done
Suspension needs some tweaking
Changed front bumper to z4m and the ducts directly feed cold air to brakes
Also got a new big brake kit to go on (with track brake fluid) as they were shuddering although not much fade.. from 335i with ate ceramics so let's see how that is and otherwise I will check out your suggestion

I guess there's a reason they tend to be cheaper now lol

Feel free to chime in any input is better than no input

I've never been brave enough to do a track day in my MC, although I did some years ago when a mate ran a motor salvage business in his more sporty stock!

There are some track-day threads on here from other Z4 owners if you can find them. Liam22 has some good info and videos about racing his E86.
