Jasper....after his accident

Some of you may remember I posted a few photos of my one eyed cat, Jasper, after he was hit by a car and left for dead. Several members were interested and other cat dads showed support. It means so much to have complete strangers wishing him well.

His recovery has been awesome.

He's changed and is probably about 80% a house cat now. Before his accident he would explore quite a distance. This morning he was enjoying some rare sunshine in the garden and I grabbed a few photos as he sunned himself on the decking.

I'm genuinely grateful to everyone who showed concern and wished him well. He almost died that night and to think that was only 4 months ago is incredible.

So here he is, enjoying the sun.

He’s a big handsome…!

He looks so much better, and as you say accidents do change them but as long as he’s happy and has made such a great recovery then that’s the best outcome isn’t it.

Absolutely...I don't mind at all that he's more a house cat. He's fully recovered and a happy boy....and that makes me a happy cat dad!

That’s really welcome news. Thank you for bringing us up to date. Animals are such an integral part of the family. Great to see him doing so well.

Great news.
Not heard the term before but that’s twice in 24 hours that I’ve been described as a ‘car dad’.
Our ‘new’ rescue cat brought his first mouse kill to the door yesterday - my Mrs took the piss out of me for being a proud cat dad

….I was though.

I was worried after that accident that he might just waste away.

Good to see a cat atrophy averted. :D

Jasper's recovery and the associated puns have been both purr-fect and meow-tivational

Big thanks once again to all for the support.

Great to see the recovery has continued. No doubt milking all the attention and fuss.
