Hi all, yesterday I jacked the car on both sides to clean the wheels and brake parts. When I put the car back on the ground the car stood higher than usual, something which I am very aware of because when changing the oil it does it too. Now usually, the car comes down back to original height position as soon as I start the car and push the ebrake down. Now I have not fixed my ebrake yet, the problem I found with the ebrake was discussed on my other posts. So when yesterday I started the engine I noticed that the car did not go down to its original height, better yet I am unsure if it did. Not to forget that my ebrake is not functioning so maybe the ebrake did not trigger the suspensions to lower down to their original position? I have 19inch wheels uquipped with rft tyres and so today I measured the height between the arches and the upper most part of the rim lip. Its about 12cm for all 4 wheels. My z4 is a 30i msport highline edition. Maybe somebody here has the exact same car with the same wheels and rim combination and can give me some clarity on this 12 cm height that I measured? Hi yes I know but the z4 e89 settles immediately after the ebrake is put off, car still stationary, no need to drive the car. And I did drive the car but again I am not sure if the suspensions have settled and that is why I went to the measurement idea and found that approximate 12cm.
