From 10 feet they look good but close they are just getting flakey in the bolt holes and between the spokes, I have a quote from a specialist for strip, powder coat, bake and refit for £300 with a two day turnaround, fitting new tyres, me supplying, and disposing of the old ones, i didn't think that was too bad?

my question is what are the thoughts of a dark grey or black alloys on the zed, anyone good with photoshop???

There's some black aftermarket alloys / black cars on here that look a treat but in this case a midnight blue & MV2s i would stick with high gloss silver , they always look classy on a dark Coupe

Lepsons charged me £360 for the same service a short while back, so I'd say that's a decent price

i am thinking of going for a new alloy polishing system i saw at a company in milton keynes, fantastic finish from a wet bead type tank that gently brings the wheel to a very high polish, the wheels are then lacquered to stop them oxidising. only problem is i cant remember the name of the system or the name of the company.... anyone ? :?

Go silver  I'm not a great fan of black wheels on dark coloured cars. My son says it's an age thing, he says says that "Black rims look sick" :o

Anthracite grey like on the Golf Gti Monza rims is nice
