Its starting to HURT!!!!

As the title says, Its starting to hurt

I'm longing to get back in a Z4 but the only way I can afford one is to sell my Crossfire first, I cant afford to take a hit on a dealer part ex, meaning I don't have enough ££'s to put to what a dealer would give me for the Crossfire.
I have been looking at private sales who would do a swap or exchange where I could afford to put a few £100's to but they either want more seats because they have a baby on the way or they want a 4x4 or the colour's not what I want or very high mileage :headbang:

So now its starting to get a little painful.
I just had to express my feelings

I should NEVER have sold my old Z4

Cant you sell the crossfire privately ?

I've had it on Pistonheads and Gumtree for over a month now and had 1 enquiry.
I have just reduced it but cant afford to let it go for nothing.

Ebay and autotrader are much better.....

Write a good advert up and give it a try....................

Autotrader starts at £45 over a certain price Ebay is £20 for a classified ad me thinks :!:

I have been more successful in selling when I have accepted a px myself.

It's usually easier to sell something cheaper privately. You may then be able to negotiate better deal with some cash and a low cost px .

Sold most of my previous cars via autotrader, with good prices/selling within a week or 2 of ad going in mag and on net...though this weeks autotrader mag's the last 1 they are printing.....going to be net only now on

Worth a decent ad, with good pics  glwts, and hope u find a nice z4 before too long :D

looked at a cossfire a few years ago it was twenty grand at the time, so glad i couldnt afford it, it looked lovely in shiny black on the forecourt , they dropped money like a stone, cheap car now tho, but the reviews put me off them anyway. good luck with yours :driving: though

I look after a couple of crossfires...

I quite like them really for a cheap cruiser with a bit of difference...

I was offered an 2006 a few years ago with 11k on the clock for very cheap money...i was very close to owning!

I think Russ59 may not have needed to hear that!! :poke:

I'd give eBay classified a go - have recently successfully sold a classic mini and a Ducati 848 using that method. Only £15.

Did you want to post up your advert links so we can see if there are any wordings / tips we could give to improve at all?

Give ebay a go, I advertised on ebay and got loads of inquiries about my MR2 (£10.50 and £20 fee if you sell) and on autotrader (£45) with no inquiries. In the end she sold through the owner's club. Good luck !

I replaced the rear tyres with 275/35/19 Falken 452's last November, fronts are fine with plenty of tread left.

I am only selling because I'm looking for a 2.5 or 3.0 BMW Z4

I would consider a swap for the right Z4
