It’s cold

Ah! But he’s a hardy northerner. When I lived in Durham we still had garden barbecues in February.

Not been bellow Zero here. Getting warmer now too. The wind is making it feel cold, but we have not even had a frost during this cold snap. No Snow either. :(

you say it like its a bad thing! I'd be happy to never see snow or frost again, if i'm honest.

I can just about stick the snow at the moment, given that i'm working from home in a nice warm house, and don't need to go outside or go anywhere. It looks pretty through the window, but its way too cold for me.

Yes cold here over the pond in the states (Columbia Mo) we have had about 3" snow. And this weekend it is to be -15c. However, my brother who lives in Northern NJ (again in states) has had 33" of snow in the last 2 weeks!!! Unfortunately job required me to move from the warm south to Columbia Mo last year. Stay warm all.

It's a bad thing, if you love the mountains. I'd be out on Dartmoor right now if I was aloud. I really don't enjoy it quite as much in the warmer months, still lovely though.

Perfect weather for walking the mountains is frozen ground with a few inches of snow on it and a light breeze. Say -5 to -15 C. Bellow that it becomes a challenge rather than a pleasure. Completely see why many others would prefer it warmer, but that is my idea of perfect mountain conditions and the moors and mountains are where I love to spend my free time, now I can no longer surf. :D 8)

It must be a Postie thing as most of them around my local area wear shorts all year round i don't know if its a who can hold out longest as i have known some builders do that but it makes laugh when they get on the bus at 5.20am with a big red coat and hat but still got shorts on  well all except one fella who wears his regulation grey shorts and pale blue short sleeve shirt all year round :o

Not quite that bad....we have had one of the mildest summers in years....only got over 42C a couple of times so far. Just been walking the dog...22C in the early morning...no wind and a high of 25C.....I feel for you. :P
