So, the little motor in the headlight had died, siezed I think and Mike says to get it out its a headlight removal job and to do that it's s bumper off job. My airbag light refuses to go out after 2 bags have been replaced and now he says it's a controller problem and it's a BMW assist unit which is rocking horse s**t situation. And my roof is still making screeching noises. But.., for the moment I don't care.. cus he also did his dlv exhaust mod and now it sounds like an old Triumph TR2. Loud and proud. So yesterday in the crap weather with roof down I went into town for no real reason other than to have a drive and experience the noise. I am 12 again. :driving: and like the ad that always came out at Christmas, I'm having a Carlos fandango moment... :driving:

There's me thinking you wished you were tiny, so you could get into the light unit. So Tom thumbs are what exactly??
I'm to young to know.

When did your airbag light come on by the way.

Seems I am too.. :o it was panama cigars.. doh..

When ? Been there since I bought the car..
When I swapped my steering wheel, I had the airbag light on afterwards. I had help from a forum member (Blade owner) who tried different types of systems to check and reset the cars brain. The last one he tried worked and put the light out. Not sure which system it was though.

You can remove the headlight motor without taking the headlight out, assuming it's the same as on my 2003 E85

That’s the second mention that Carlos Fandango has had in a couple of days. I thought that he died in a monsterous shunt in 1979. I believe his car span out of control when his flares caught under the throttle going into a corner. On impact the tank ruptured and the fuel ignited on his cigar. The marshals couldn’t get near the car as the tyres were in the way. RIP Carlos.

Yes you can, but can you release the power lead...

I didn't think of that, didn't have to for what I was doing, I take it it's tucked away somewhere?
