Well
Just spent the last 80 mins reading 3.0si to M threads.... so I have established
- That the M costs more to run..
- That it's worse on fuel
- That its ..... etc
- I have to test drive one... London meet
But in the words of Pvr "oo the noise!!"
My direct question is to anyone who has stepped up from a 3.0 si to an M and yes would be a coupe  , Its very early days and may not happen , but I keep wanting M related stuff for my zed and thought ... why not the price difference is hardly anything these days 4-5k tops so thats not an issue. Time I buy a bumper , exhaust etc spend 2k than add no value another 2k you got your price difference to a M = 4-5k.... (As you can see serious case of man maths)
I may note I love my zed , think its great , looks stunning , and cheap to run in my eyes, she only has 36,000 miles just done an inspe 2 so hardly any future costs ... touch wood , and no need to change it as its great
But the pedigree is a massive draw, and everything that comes with it.
Background:
Will be used few times of week for work so coummute miles 4000-5000 pa 30 mile round trip and pleasure miles maybe 6500-7000 miles in total tops! pa.
I have one issue...
When I owned my 350 it was shocking on fuel and annoyed me filling it up all the time, I think I got maybe 20 mpgs. Is the M bad ???? no city driving will be b roads and the motorway
Thanks guys I know its a well talked subject but interested still in members views
