:o Reading through this thread it is quite evident that the Z4 is very much the choice of doctors and surgeons, It would appear I have your tastes, Just wish I had your pay packets as well

Just wish I had your pay packets as well
and so starts the debate on private vs public pay packets again :fuelfire: ...except we would not want to hijack PVRs thread on his recent affliction :poke:

good to see you haven't lost your sense of humour :D

shoulda put your car in the golf club car park just a bit further up the hospital road - £2 all day

Best wishes for a fast recovery pvr.

I've only been in hospital once for a minor operation and it was done privately at Ross Hall in Glasgow. Found the entire experience quite surreal. When you check-in you tell them how you are paying (mine was covered with private health insurance), then they take you to your room which has soft chairs, satellite tv, phone and newspapers waiting for you. You also have your own en-suite bathroom. Minutes before I was ready to go down to theatre they came round with the dinner menu! :D The shocking fact is that the consultant that operated on me would have been the same person that carried out the operation on the NHS, except I would have waited around 8 weeks back then, rather than 2 days!

Glad to hear that you're mended pvr, did you get a manly scar for your troubles?

My other half had her appendix taken out at 16, but it was only salmonella!
