Wow - looking very good! Bet you needed that stereo!! 
yes days it seems to be a never ending story and i wasnt rushing as ive never done this sort of thing. 
it either kept going dark or i had to go out etc. Probably didnt help that i didnt start first thing either but even so its taken lots of time.
i started last week where i took the wheels off and washed, polished and sealed them (and decided that they are scuffed to hell and falking so need redoing
) cleaned the hood and cleared out the hood drains
on sat i washed it with snowfoam and then shampoo. dried using microfibre cloths. Clay bar it using a bilt hamber and born slippy. quick wash after to get any bits off. i had to stop then about 6 and do other stuff in the house
on sunday i washed it again as it had stood all night, dried it. put 2 coats of black hole on as it said on the tub multiple layers would be better and they are right it did look better and then sealed it usning ex-p sealer (which takes 30-60mins to dry! and then is a twat to get off). that finished off yesterday afternoon.
its not the panels that take all the time its the damn fiddly bits inside and around the doors/boot etc that add loads of time.
dont knock the radio its been all the way though the westy build and is still going despite having a palled dropped on it and various other mishaps. it only tunes into 1 station of its choice and quite often you have to give it a bash... i could get another but it amuses me and wouldnt have its character!
so all i have left to do now is clean the windows make the black bits black again and do the inside. oh and if ifeel like it i bought a wax to but over the sealer.

I own a westfield.... they are the definition of finding something to do! 4 yrs and counting and its still got that "little job to finish"

Well, I ca see the problem with the Westy - no clutch, not surprised it is slipping :roll: 
I am about to embark on the same journey as you as soon as the weather sorts itself out. Hope it doesn't take as long though, as I like driving it too much
