Issue During Cold Start: RPM Bouncing Around Briefly

I have a 2009 E89 Z4 sDrive30i with the N52B30 engine. I am experiencing an unstable RPM upon cold start every morning.

It seems to be bouncing around for 2 to 3 seconds upon cold start and stabilises without any issue after that.

It only happens during cold start for the 1st time everyday. There were no other issues during driving, I can comfortably push the car all the way to 6,500rpm.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? Would appreciate any insights on what could be the cause of this issue. Thanks in advance.

 
My car it was the cam cover was bowed.
Oil in spark plug hole 4.
It stabilizes as the voltage settles at 14 volts plus 2-3 seconds after start.
