Is there a way to stop iDribe screen coming up?

A silly question but…

I don’t necessarily always want the iDrive screen elevated. Is a way to lower/retract it?

I use the far right button, you know can't remember how to set?
Think you just press and hold button.
Second from right i set to night mode the display.

Using the iDrive controller, flick to the right, you should find "Close Screen" (or something similar). Make sure you've highlighted it (do not press the controller though).
Then you can select one of the 8 buttons on the front panel of then radio, and press that. The screen should now close.
You can now use this button as a quick close/ open button at any time.

Or you could hit it with a hammer. That fixes things too

In the rare occasions I’be pushed it down by hand, the iDribe motor —possibly an actuator— picks up at about halfway and puts it down. No problems yet. I’ll keep you posted. :wink:
