Is there a how to fit a first aid box?

Hi all-as above,i like the sound of what aquazi said,about keeping sunglasses in it,but cant see a how to,is it easy?,did a quick search which showed nothing.
 
very easy, just lift the seat as high as it goes, then 3 (i think) screws

10 mins max
 
Its a bit tricky to get the bolts in sometimes. One of mine went in really easy, the other was a freakin nightmare. Trick is to push really hard as its going in (ooh er) as there is a bit of fabric to push though...
 
i would suggest running the screwws threw the holes first - before fitting the box, that way you know the thread is clean and not damaged

Got my angled screwdriver / bit set, so will fit mine tomorrow (finally) as well :)

my thoughts too
 
I would do as taz suggested... Mine was pretty tight to scre it.... I used a socket set with extended handle to get enough leverage to do the bolts.

And a tip I got from CJ was too line it with felt.... So things inside don't rattle. :thumbsup:

No idea what this fabric is all about..... On my sport seats maybe under the seat bracket which this screws into there is fabric...., but then the screws that come with it are really short.

I would get it from soper.... As you need the box, bracket and the bolts, think it cost me under £15 last year for all of it.... Which at the it was less then the box alone from eBay.
 
i paid £29.95 back in 2009, direct from BMW

that came complete with brackets, screws and the first aid kit
