Is there a bit of room in the E85/6 dash?

I did actually lose a brick! Will try to find it during the install.

What about the area above head unit and vents, if you don't have nav, the area the screen tray sits into is a decent size

Looks like there could be space where the satnav screen would be particularly towards the back, but I think the vent tube will be in the way. Does anyone know if that can be moved?

That vent tube, if we're talking about the same one, is used to cool the radio.

Ah yes I was looking on real Oem and saw that tube, interesting. I meant the main hvac ducting for the event above the stereo though. The large oval output. Number 8….

Amp and harness ordered.
Does anyone know if the central vent ducting discussed above can be manoeuvred so the amp might go just below the top of the dash where the nav screen would sit?
Also I don’t think removing the dash trim would help me at all for any positioning?
Thanks

Can't help with the venting but removing the dash trims is pointless as it's solid behind them.

@Usel thank you. I couldn’t remember and didn’t seem to have pictures when I swapped out my Ali dash.
I’ll have a good poke around to find the best place, your option of drivers side is perfect but I think I’ll need extra wiring for that.
I’ll figure it out when the kit arrives and I can see how much I have to play with.
