Hey guys,
I recently got married and my wife and I are looking at a bigger house to start a family. Now this of course has a direct impact in my performace car hobby!
I currently have a Mk1 2000 TVR Tuscan which is not the cheapest thing to run due to the high maintance the engine requires.
After seeing the recent prices of Z4M's I have started to be tempted by them, plus they have the added bonus of having BMW's reliability and build quality which is lets be honest a lot better than TVR's.
My current fears of this move is first off the driving experience, the Tuscan currently puts out 360bhp per ton with no driving aids at all making it a real rollercoaster ride. Is it possible to have the same sensation with the Z4M or do the electrics get in the way of tail out fun?
My other worry is the running costs, am I likley to be any better off? I plan to do most of the servicing myself so it will just be costs of parts and any issues I can't resolve. My average service cost is £600 for the Tuscan.
Any advice would be great
Cheers
Dave
