Is the gm5 module a straight swap if I find the same part number?

Easier/cheaper to get it repaired? Often just a bad connection/resistor. Few people do it, either in person, or via post. I've used a guy who's info I can dig out if needed.

Not sure where you're based, but Colin is based in Berkshire - he did mine (and plenty of others on here) and offers a postal service too. Lovely guy, fair price, really know his stuff.
