Is my 2.0 exhaust manifold different to yours?

Hi all,

Had a new exhaust manifold fitted to my '07 2.0 today.

The service manager said he wasn't sure but thinks BMW may have modified the manifold.

I'd appreciate it if other 2.0 owners could take a peek at their manifold and let me know if it looks any different to this? Not sure if the pic gives enough detail.

Maybe just an illusion or camera angle, but seems to have 2 less manifold pipes mine

Andalucia, South Spain. 10 days in a villa near Frigliana then a few days in the Parador up in Ronda. Spend a few weeks every yyear down there.

Only downside is I have to drive a crappy hire car on roads and weather that i should have the Zed on. :thumbsdown:

Just to confirm, mine was the same. Had it repalced under warranty as it cracked which appears to be abit of a common problem with the 2.0i, as it includes the CAT its an expensive part, re-con one was aorund £800 and new there double that.

Hi there

Yeah mine cracked last week so I'm waiting for a part from the dealer in Hailsham, they said it could drive it tentatively in the mean time. I wonder what damage it might do, so have hardly been driving it; luckily I'm getting it replaces under warranty too.
