Is it worth joining the BMW Car Club?

Would anyone recommend joining, or maybe another BMW owners club if there is one?

I ask because apart from discounts from suppliers and dealers are there any other benefits for Z4 owners? I have to be honest and say that apart from the Zed, I'm not at all interested in other BMWs so the magazine would be of minimal interest.
 
I joined about a year ago as I was paying the annual fee for another BMW mag that stopped being published. That's all I get out of it. The 10% discount I always negotiate with dealers anyway. Looked at the forum once or twice but it seems a bit clicky between the members.
