Is it possible to change head lights to face lift one?

I am new to here. I got a 2.2 Z4, the head light is yellow, but I prefer the face lift one( its white lense)
Is it possible to change it and cost?
thanks a lot

donaldschen, you can buy clear pre-facelift lights but micdundee is correct on the costs, it isn't a cheap mod unfortunately. If you want to do the sides and rears too then you're probably looking at the thick end of 800 odd quid.

That converted Zed looks familiar ..

I priced all this up for someone a few weeks back and if you have halogen then £700 is closer to the mark for a complete pair of light units. For Xenon around £1500, assuming you already have xenon for the ballast, bulb, and connectors.

Your 2.2 will also likley have black inners so for the same price you can switch to silver as fitted on 3.0. On some it looks way better.

Ask Mike says cost rise if you want to match side repeaters, brake lights and third brake.

Add anything from £400 to £1000 to change the bumper cover.

There were a set of clear indicator Xenons on sale here a few weeks ago, about £650 I think, not sure if they sold or not.

I have halogens so the change was a little cheaper for me and I had some great help fitting them, I wouldn't want to pay dealer prices for them though...

I'll probably try and recoupe some of the costs when I come to selling the car. The lights will always be sought after.

 8) thats one cool front end,how did you do the indicators .that would save me a packet!

I used CHAV spray, or more commonly know as light tinting spray.., just mask off the orange lense and spray till your happy with the shade of black..

I personally think the black lensed Z4 headlights look far better than the 3.0 ones.(Certainly not because i've got a 2.5  ) The black backed lights look more agressive i think.............anyone else agree?

I actullay prefer the silver, albeit with no amber.

The silver makes the front of the car "more special". A saphire black car with silver head lights and a black out grill looks superb.

Disagree - IMHO they look dated. Check out most cars made in the last few years and they tend to be very white/silver lights.

The exception is on a black car where the silver may be somewhat too contrasting
