Is Genuine BMW outdoor cover washable ?

Morning ,

Can anyone please tell me if the BMW genuine outdoor cover is washable? And if so how?

I'm going to try using mine that I got with the car as I'm fed up with the dust that's shows up on the black paintwork quickly after washing.

Also, has anyone re waterproofed theirs as it ages ?

Sorry just found a old post that says it can at 30 degrees.
It doesn't say if you should use detergent though.

I'd use a decent, low-foaming, car shampoo in the machine with it - this is ion the basis that you can use the car shampoos on soft-tops and it doesn't damage them or their weatherproofing...

Should be, just a cool wash or it may delaminate.
