Is anyone running Nankang NS2-R's as a daily tyre?

I ran federal 595rsr (which I understand is a very similar tyre) full time on my 968cs. They were surprisingly good and had no real issues, just be careful if it's sopping wet as they will aquaplane easily, and consider something else once it gets winter cold, they need some heat to work.

I have a set of these, they are fine... No problems at all (19's)
I would recommend these & would buy them again! I'm sure some members are going to slag these off due to the fact they have not tried a cheaper tyre! But I'm happy with them, I don't drive aggressively, these are adequate for my style of driving!

You have the NS2-R in a 19" fitment Terry???? I thought they only went up to 18"
The NS2-R is a semi slick tyre correct???
The 19" Nankangs are NS2 XL or NS20 Either way i want to hear about them as i am considering them next Along with Federal 595evo (my curent preferd choice but i cant get 255/30/19

I'll check.... Mine are Nankang ns-2 Nobel sport 20 XL sorry!

Ok thats cool just making sure.... There is so much choice a little s or an r in the wrong place you end up with something you didn't want!!
So you think they are ok? Would you recommend?? I have heard only good things about the federals.

Like I said I'd buy them again.... I've had no issues at all, but I don't drive like a loon and do minimal mileage!
After spending shed loads on my 313's I needed tyres that weren't too expensive! Mrs Hill wasn't too impressed now much the rims cost :lol:
Rides so much better than 18's with RFT!

The NS2 and NS2-R are a completely different tyre.
Nakang have invested big in racing and the NS2-Rs are the control tyre for a number of race series.
The NS2 is a budget street tyre, I'm sure they are just fine but not track orientated at all.
The 595 RSR is a direct competitor for the NS2-R.

I had hankook winter tyres on, ice bear w300.... They were awful in anything but snow. Under steer, oversteer, at really unsociable speeds like 30mph! Awful tyre.
Just swapped out for Cooper Zeon CS Sport which have been a great winter/spring tyre.
Nankang scan get scrubbed in at Snetterton this spring.
Demon tweeks have them on offer at the moment. Ordering some online now.

These are awesome OP...
seriously good on the track and road but I've only experienced them in the summer, they are quite noisy and wear quickly but for sheer grip these are insane! i got caught with them once or twice in rain and again felt fine, i think its the temp that effects these more than anything else! These are the actual control tyre for numerous race championships.
