Is anyone a member of the BMW Car Club

Yes, I am. Biggest benefits are :

- 10% discount on all servicing and parts at BMW dealer (check that they participate).
- Nice monthly magazine.
- Parts discount from other companies.
- Insurance discount when using the advertisers.

Same here in the US. I'm a member of the BMWCCA and ZSCCA. Did a performance driving school (club day) for half the cost of the usual one day school. That was worth the money, not to mention discounts on service and parts. The Roundel magazine (here in the US) is also worth the cost.

The nice thing about the discount here is that it is between 10-25% for parts and service depending on the dealer. Also if you get the BMWCCA credit card, they give you a free years membership when you charge $150.00. I just got the card and extended my membership to 2011. Having your car on the card is also pretty cool and a conversation started when you use it.

BMW has a nice deal with the club where if you buy a new or certified pre-owned car from a dealer they will send you a nice discount check. I bought an E46 from our local dealer awhile back and got a check for $500. This is in addition to whatever discounts you can negotiate with the dealer. You need to be a dues paid member for at least a year to take advantage of this offer. Yes, it actually did come! The amount varies depending on the model. For me, at least, the rewards have far out paced the cost of membership. I say yes, definitely go for it!

Yep, BMW CCA. Great magazine every month, and support of a great organization. Haven't taken advantage of the 10% dealer discounts yet, but that day will come. Rates go up in 2010, better hurry up!
