Ipod Iphone connection

Hello guys and happy weekend to you all if you are reading this on the day was posted, if not I hope you had a lovely weekend. Right back on track, would there be any issues with leaving an Ipod or Iphone permanently plugged into the arm rest connectors? Am more interested in problems it may cause car then in the pesky Iphone. We do this in the wifes Cooper S with no apparent issues. Thank you in advance and happy motoring, Steve

As the car powers down after about 20 mins, I don't think you'd have any issues. Frankly though, I wouldn't want to leave an iPhone in the car, as while it can't be seen, it can still be pinched if someone breaks in...

Maniac Thank you , understand the Iphone stealing thing but its a very old, and frankly useless battery wise, Iphone 3. It will in fairness be taken out over night but was just concerned about issues of leaving in and , as usual you have come up trumps. Thank you. Steve

Item in the paper today about thieves targetting cars that have a Bluetooth signal visible - after market satnavs like tomtom with hands free enabled - so you may want to ensure the phone isn't broadcasting its Bluetooth if you leave it in
