Hi guys. I plugged my iPod nano (5 + years old) into the stereo using the BMW y cable that I got with my r56 mini fjcw (10 plate). It works but it intermittently crashes with a "loading" displayed across the screen. I reset the iPod still no luck.
As an alternative I plugged my iPhone 6 in. Using the same y cable and the 30 pin to lightening adaptor. Again it worked and then failed after a short period of time.
Any suggestions guys, is there a specific cable required for use in the new bmws ?
