iPod interface wiring

Okay.. time to fix it.

Had the car a few years now and never got round to fixing the "scratching+poor sound from the front and rear right hand speakers (only) when the iPod (glovebox interface) is connected. Playing CD's and radio all is fine so between iPod and business CD unit.

Just a case of disconnecting/reconnecting blocks and cables etc ?

Is there a pin out of the blocks to say which is the FR and RR wires?

Does anyone still use their iPod interface and does it work OK?

Ive tried everything but with the sound balance moved all the way to the right both speaker outputs have light crackling with breakup. None of the cables+ blocks when disconnected/reconnected/flexed add or take away the effect. I even get a crackle when certain buttons on the head unit are pushed.!!! Anyone got one kicking around that they don't need anymore?
