Ipod connection

Units for for connecting iphone/ipod to factory radio.

Is there any units that are just plug, play and where do I get one??

If you have an aux port there are many options, otherwise you'll have to get into the wiring at the back of the CD Changer

If yours is a 2007 M, you will have an Aux port. If 2006 - you won't and the options are as above.

He might actually have an aux port. Mines a 56 and has one.

Where is the aux port , mines an 07 .

Aux shoul be in the panel under the ac controls. You will need to feel with you hands or get down really low to see. If its been reto fitted like mine it might have been put in a better location like mine which is in the glovebox.

Other options with better integration are Intravee or Denison gateway.

Ok the last owener fitted retro aux but this meant that the bluethooth would not work as it used the same port, I have all the wiring for the aux but cant get it to work with bluethooth aswell is there anyway this can be done?

It was the port top left looking at the cd unit if that helps

Both phone and Aux use the same sub connector on the radio multiplug, but different pins. All you need to do is remove the pins from the Aux connector and insert them into the same locations in the car harness with the phone pins populated.

Having a blonde moment there looking at that picture haha. Cheers for the correction, otherwise there might of been another post on how to fix a f**k up.
