Hi,

Right, i've bought the cable (the one that is already made up for you), £12 or so.

Looking at car and getting a little mmm less brave about giving it a go, lol.

Where to put it. Even after reading the forums about it, still a little confused. I guess you can also buy the connector that sticks into the ipod from maplins or somewhere like that?

You need to remove the centre air vents, then pull out the stereo head unit and plug in the back.

I think sk93 did a how to, just do a search my friend

2004 Z4 - Professional etc.

Mmmm, just wanted IPOD cable in Glove Box tbh on shuffle :) I've done enough modding in the last few weeks.

Badges, Wheels, Tyres, Stubby, Cruise Control...

It is easy to route an AUX cable into the glovebox....

I run a three gang cigarette lighter extension from the ashtray into the glovebox I then have and iPod Charger/Amp, TomTom Charger and two phone chargers with their plug ends routed back into the ashtray area so all the power ends are in the glovebox..

The iPod accesory I use is: Belkin Auto Kit for iPod

Ive done similar in mrs gannet's Mazda 2

I could take some photos if you like...
