Ipod cable

Hello can anyone confirm that this is the correct cable for the two sockets in the arm rest to connect an iphone to ? It looks the same as the one from the wifes Mini Cooper S which works fine except that E89 is not mentioned as compatable. This is the ebay link ;

Depends on the MY. It's the correct cable for my 2009 although I bought the official BMW cable to be certain.

Later Z4 models with combox (sept 2010 on I think) can use the standard white apple iPod cable.
 
i have the bmw phone dock for my iphone as i use an ipod classic on the cable but yes the cable charges the ipod.
 
try this official one when we bought one from bmw i think it were like 60-70 quid they seen my mrs coming :D
