Hmm it gets in the way of the roof buttons, but the real downer for me is that I would definitely crash whilst looking for directions on the nav screen.
My iPad GPS wouldn't fit down there without obstructing something
I'm using my old TomTom for now*, as I can quickly remove the sucker & sat nav and slip both into my pocket, leaving no trace.
* until someone comes up with a brilliant (i.e. not one that relies solely on user-contributed maps) sat-nav app to make the most of the iPad's real estate, and then I'll use a professional Brodit suction mount
